Visit from Hampshire County Council members.
From the start New Milton's Men's Shed has received outstanding support from Hampshire County Council with help in setting things up and the provision of a 'shed'. Shed members were therefore delighted to welcome members of the Council to their shed at Fernhill Sports Ground on 18th February 2020 to show them the progress made in kitting out the shed and some of the work completed and in progress for the local community.
Thank you Hampshire C.C. and your Men’s Activity Network (M.A.N.).

The permanent home of New Milton’s branch of the international Men’s Shed project – which battles loneliness – was unveiled by the town’s mayor.
Cllr Alvin Read cut the ribbon (pictured) at the Fernhill Sports Ground facility, which provides a social hub for like-minded folk to meet up, share skills and knowledge and undertake projects to benefit the community. Also present was New Milton Men’s Shed chairman Adrian Duckett.
