Following a discussion on another site where someone was looking for word games, I thought some shed members may be interested in Boggle. If you don't of know it, it is game where you shake 25 dice in to a gridded tray and try to make words from resulting square of letters.
For various reasons, not just because I am weird, I produced a version in Excel, which can be viewed on a pc, tablet, mobile phone or cast to a TV, ideal for larger groups with poorer eyesight. It operates just by clicking one of two buttons and incorporates an adjustable timer. It does use macros, though I also have an earlier version without a time that is 'macro free'.
Attached is a pdf explaining how the game is played. The Dropbox link should allow you to download the Excel file, I tried to include the file directly in this post but it would not allow me. If anyone is interested but does not have Excel I can produce less elegant versions in Power Point, in the form of a video that you stop/ start between games or a simple pdf that can be printed off and played like puzzles in a newspaper.
Let me know if you would like one of the other formats.
